As the Lead Simulator Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our on-site operations—guiding a talented team of 2-3 people, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring our Simulation Training Equipment consistently delivers top performance.


What You’ll Do:


  • Inspire & Lead: Motivate and manage your on-site FSR team, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals and site requirements.
  • Manage the Schedule: Oversee the team roster, delegate tasks based on priorities, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
  • Be the Communication Bridge: Serve as the key point of contact for both our customers and CAE management, fostering open, proactive communication.
  • Champion Technical Excellence: Track technical issues on simulators, collaborate with tech leads to resolve challenges, and implement mitigation plans to minimize downtime.
  • Own Logistics: Manage on-site parts and logistics, ensuring everything needed for success is always at hand.
  • Document & Report: Keep meticulous records, generate customer communications (with manager approval), and ensure all documentation is up to date for every maintenance milestone.
  • Promote Safety: Lead by example in practicing and enforcing health and safety guidelines, and support audits and corrective actions.
  • Drive Performance: Monitor device operational availability, striving to exceed contract KPIs.
  • Negotiate & Collaborate: Support customer negotiations for new requirements or penalties, and coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors when needed.
  • Lead Change: Oversee software upgrades, authorized modifications, and support post-design services.
  • Mentor & Develop: Train and mentor team members, sharing your expertise in simulation technologies and engineering systems.
  • Keep Everyone Informed: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates to your reporting manager, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Take Initiative: Tackle troubleshooting head-on, develop action plans for complex issues, and lead teams to successful resolutions.


What You Bring:


  • A technical college qualification and hands-on experience in electronics, computers, networking, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of technical experience in simulation. Preferably CAE simulators.
  • Proven team management skills and a passion for developing others.
  • Advanced communication and computing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of simulation technologies and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
